Road safety · in the dark
Can you stop in the dark?
Choose how the pedestrian is dressed and which lights are on. You see whether the car stops before reaching them, and the highest speed at which that still works.

How it works
The obstacle is placed where the driver notices the pedestrian. From there it is the same calculation as the stopping distance calculator: during the reaction time the car keeps full speed, then brakes. In the dark danger often comes unexpectedly — try a reaction time of 1.5 seconds too.
