Road safety · following distance
Is your following distance enough?
The car ahead brakes hard or stops instantly. See whether you can stop, and if not, at what speed you hit it.

How it works
Both cars brake with the same calculation: same car, tyres and road. You only start braking after your reaction time, so you crash if your reaction time is longer than the gap. If the car ahead stops instantly (hits something), you need a much bigger gap.
